This HD Chute Blocker model (this one) is for most mowers with 42″ or larger decks.
36″ and smaller decks probably need the Slim HD Chute Blocker model, which has a slightly smaller profile.

We recommend the rubber flap, but it is just a personal preference. The reason we recommend the rubber flap is that it is more forgiving. Even the most careful lawn mower operators can get a little too close to a fence post! The rubber will snap back into shape, while the aluminum flap prefers to bend.
